What is the CAP Money Course?
The Christians Against Poverty Money Course is a free course that will teach you budgeting skills and a simple, cash-based system that works. In just a few weeks, you will get to grips with your finances so you can budget, save and prevent debt.
Partnering with the CAP Debt Centre
This course is run in partnership with the CAP Debt Centre drop in on a Friday morning at St Barnabas Church on Temple Road. You don't have to be in debt or be a debt centre client to join this course, and you are welcome to stay for the drop in after the course finishes.
Is the CAP Money Course for me?
Whether you feel pretty organised or whether it’s like a lucky dip every time you try to withdraw cash from your account, the CAP Money Course will help you take complete control of your finances. There are extra resources for those on low incomes, self-employed people, couples, families and those preparing for retirement – whoever you are, the CAP Money Course will be relevant to you.
For more information please see capmoneycourse.org
If you are 16 or over you are welcome to participate in this course. There is a student course which may be more appropriate if you are still in education. Email if you are interested in a student course and we will let you know when the next one is running.
Access to the CAP Money Online
If you would like to use the CAP Money Online budget worksheet you will need to give us permission to add you to the CAP system. There is a permission option below. Once you have attended the first session, you will be added to the CAP system and you will receive an email to activate your account to enter the rest of your details, if you so wish.
Christians Against Poverty will ensure your personal details are held securely to enable you to fully register to use the CAP Money website and to enable CAP to contact you moving forward in line with their privacy policy (capuk.org/privacy).
