In common with most other websites, we use cookies.  The CTiE website uses 6 cookies, which enable the website to work with your device. When you leave the website, the website session cookie expires.  The other 5 cookies are necessary for the events page to function. 

The CTiE website has neither advertisers nor other third party interests and we control all the web material ourselves. Neither do we use research applications or plugins that could generate extra cookies which we do not know about. Our current audit of cookie use on the CTiE website therefore suggests that only essential cookies are in use to make the website work. As a result, we believe our cookie policy can be 'implied consent' as all our cookies are essential to the working of the site and of low risk to the visitor.

'Implied consent' means that visitors to the CTE website are not asked to provide 'explicit consent' to cookies on our website. However, 'implied consent' does mean that visitors to the CTE website should understand that a cookie is sent from the CTiE website to the visitor's web browser as a result of their visit. These cookies help the visitor  move from one page to another more quickly, access information and other essential features of the website. We shall review this policy and change as necessary to further comply with new guidelines and directives.
